Fake Ecstasy pills containing Strychnine

Description: Yellow with brown fleks, no logo
9mm diameter and 4.4 mm thick

Pill contains 8mg Strychnine

This warning was issued in the Norwich Evening News on May 5th 2001, after DIY contacted the paper with the information and Det.Insp Lovewell of Norfolk Police confirmed the story. DIY obtained the information from burnitblue.com (a dance music site) - read the story here Burnitblue.com here

The British government's so-called "drug tsar" was informed before 30th April but decided not to issue a warning, instead he simply repeated warning that illegal drugs are dangerous.

There was a death in Norfolk the day before DIY managed to get the Evening News to issue this warning, its unknown if the two are connected.
